Things to do in Boracay

When people asked me where we can hold our next event and I said Philippines, I immediately thought of Boracay. There are a lot of things that you can do here and it won;t be called the “Summer Capital of the Philippines” for nothing. Here are my favorite things to do in Boracay:

  1. Walk along the entire 15+ kilometers of powdery white sand.
  2. Eat…eat …eat.
    1. There are a lot of restaurants that you can choose from but one of my favorite is the Real Coffee. They have these muffins that are to die for. I recommend the calamansi muffin if you like  to try a whole new different flavor for muffins. The best thing about this restaurant is they serve American breakfast anytime of the day.
    2. Eat all you can Buffet is very famous in Boracay, but my favorite is the Seafood Buffet where you can eat all the oysters, clams, shrimps, mussels, crabs, tuna fish and a lot more for the price of $6 net. The best part is you eat by the beach…:)
    3. For the meat lovers, I recommend “I love Backyard BBQ”. Try the sizzling Bulalo, it’s mouth watering good!
  3. Relax, get a massage on the beach. They charge $7 (Php 300) for a one hour massage by the beach.
  4. Experience feeding the fish and walk on the sea bed by trying the Helmet diving. It will only cost you $8.5 (Php350). This price is per person and you will take home the memories of this experience with pictures and video under the sea.
  5. For Party people, there are a lot of place to go to.
    1. If you enjoy drinking and DJ music dancing, try the Cocomangas. They have a contest in this bar and they call it “Still standing after 15”. This just mean that after 15 shots of shooters and you are still standing you get to put your name in their wall of fame.
    2. If you enjoy  live music, just walk near the perimeter of Boracay Regency and there are a lot of live band music that you can listen to.
